Hey people, I just recently got a Launchkey 49 and it came with Live lite, so I'm learning everything slowly. But I can't seem to import files. Like any to a session. I've tried dragging wave, mp3 and m4a and I get the same 'forbidden' mouse pointer. I tried following the steps it showed on ableton's support but still nothing. Included with a number of apps and hardware products, Live 10 Lite is a lightweight version of Ableton Live 10. It comes with all of Live’s essential workflows, instruments and effects – everything you need to record songs, create hands-on with your controller, take music made in your apps further and so much more.

Installation on a Windows PC

Unzip the file and run setup.msi. Then open Live and follow the instructions there. If you want to uninstall the trial at any point, you can find help here.
